# Installation

## macOS

Copy:

```text
plugins/RetroGrid.jsfx
```

to:

```text
~/Library/Application Support/REAPER/Effects/
```

In REAPER you can find this folder via:

```text
Options > Show REAPER resource path in explorer/finder
```

Open the `Effects` folder, copy the JSFX file into it, then restart REAPER or refresh the FX browser.

## Windows

Copy:

```text
plugins/RetroGrid.jsfx
```

to:

```text
%APPDATA%\REAPER\Effects\
```

In REAPER you can find the resource folder via:

```text
Options > Show REAPER resource path in explorer/finder
```

Open the `Effects` folder, copy the JSFX file into it, then restart REAPER or refresh the FX browser.

## Loading The Effect

After installation, search the REAPER FX browser for:

```text
Retro-Grit Master
```

The public project name is RetroGrid, but the current JSFX description shown inside REAPER is `Retro-Grit Master (Sinus RM & Fixed Scope)`.
