Answering Messiaens Awaiting is a piece that is a response to Et exspecto resurrectionem mortuorum, And I await the resurrection of the dead, from Olivier Messiaen.

For this response improvised composition Hans Timmermans used the rehearsal recordings of Vera Hofman’s Next Ensemble. These recordings were made by Kees van de Wiel.

This is a live recording of the performance at Jheronimus Bosch Art Center.
