Hearing Guard Plugin Pack is a small set of JSFX plugins for REAPER, made for safer and more comfortable headphone listening while mixing.

The basic idea is to avoid wearing headphones louder or longer than necessary. Hearing Guard gives you an estimated A-weighted listening level and daily dose tracking. Headphone Crossfeed adds a little controlled crosstalk between left and right, so headphone listening feels less like hard-separated sound inside your head and a little more like sitting in front of speakers. Loudness Contour lets you change the listening contour for lower or higher monitoring levels, compensating for the way our ears respond differently to frequencies at different loudness levels.

Included plugins

Hearing Guard: A-weighted dBA meter with NIOSH-style daily dose tracking, calibration, break cues, and protection fade.
Headphone Crossfeed: simple delayed and filtered left/right crossfeed for a calmer headphone stereo image.
Loudness Contour: equal-loudness inspired low/high contour for quieter monitoring, with level matching.
